Any decent 50+lb bow will do the job. Don't go total cheapie, and don't buy something outrageously expensive.
Hell, that 55lb. Indian Archery Deerslayer sitting in my bedroom was made in 1974, and still flings an arrow at truly respectable speeds... even by today's standards.
Oh yeah... uhh... if you're hunting *big* game, as in bear, etc... anything with teeth... pack a gun, or bring a buddy packing a gun. Trust me on that.
