Will is brilliant, has potential for a bright future if his brilliance can be put to good use. He goes to counseling and is provoked to explore the possibilities, and he starts to ';come out of his shell'; so to speak and get somewhere in life. He finds he is ready to commit, or further pursue, his girlfriend.
