Hmmmmm these questions are always tough. What does he do more? Actually you know what he might like? You have to check your state laws. Being that he likes hunting and fishing why not get him a bowfishing setup? If he hunts with a bow it should be more or less a piece of cake for him (with some practice of course). Depends on your budget. If he fishes from a boat he might enjoy a good fish finder. If you live in the north he would probably enjoy one that is adaptable to ice fishing too. Binoculars are a nice gift and useful to hunters and fishermen both. Nikon and Steiner make make excellent optics. If buying specific equipment seems too daunting to you you could always buy him a good rain suit.
