Well, a quality shotgun is going to be like a pump Remington, at about 250-350, but you may want to look at a single-shot .410. Many manufacturers, and because it is a shotgun, we arfe not talking about extreme accuracy. Yiou can probably get down to about $75 with a used single-shot. Go to your gun store, and ask for used .410's. You might be surprised...

Even if I knew, I wouldn't direct you to the sources if I knew them......Well, except you can probably get a beagle or beagle mix at the local pound for about $40.

Make sure you get one that will shoot slugs good for dear hunting . I know allot of people in hear don't agree with hunting but they will go to the market and buy meat and eat it just as you eat your game a dead animal is a dead animal no matter where you get it at . Why a shotgun? I use a Beaman air rifle. It will get them at 100 yards. Mine cost $144.00.
If you're going to hunt do it right get a 12 gauge and vaporize the critter. Be sure to use 00 shot so you won't have much to clean up! A sledge hammer would work well too.
